The last event weekend was extended to incorporate St Patricks day, and Easter should include Easter Monday aswell.

See the issue is that Easter Monday is really a Christian thing (specifically Roman Catholic if I remember right). While Easter itself (note no little crosses dropping) is a largely secular holiday...While I admit the basis for it stems from religion extending it to Easter Monday would require anets recognition of a religion.

/like drops but relies that it could have major repercussions(is this the right spelling?) business wise..

Of course everything I said is from an American Standpoint I can't speak for the celebration of Easter Monday in other societies

They could just do what Marty said and extend it since people will probably be busy on Easter Sunday and circumvent that issue altogether.

it would b a good idea cause people will be busy and tbh i doubt anyones gonna care about the religion if they get an extra day of farming

Yep your right there although part of the Easter story is common to Christian Jewish and Islam only the Christians have the resurrection on the Monday.

In all honesty it could last from Maundy Thursday, until Easter Monday.

All for it. Missed all of today for family stuff, and am pretty much packed all weekend, including Monday.

For a "skill versus time" game, these special events sure favour those with no lives and a lot of free time.

Once a year events like this should last a full week.

Easter Weekend Event is atm from friday afternoon till sunday midnight.
Thats STUPID!

Easter is on sunday and monday.
So, the event should be from saturday afternoon till monday midnight.

Or, from friday afternoon till monday midnight..............

Grind more and you won't need an extension.

But seriously:
You should get a few drops per hour if you play this game rather than farm. So an extension wouldn't change much.
All grind reduction is good, but such minimal reduction, especially if it means prolonging it due to a real-life religious holiday, I just don't see much point to it.
